Canada's Largest Entertainment Centre – Cowboys Dance Hall construction commences. Melrose Café & Bar confirmed to join Cowboys Casino's highly anticipated entertainment complex; Tuesday March 6, 2012 – Calgary, AB - Penny Lane Entertainment Group (PLE) is pleased to announce that along with the construction of Cowboys Dance Hall, Melrose Café & Bar will join the highly anticipated Cowboys Casino entertainment complex. The doors are set to open this spring. A management agreement between Penny Lane Entertainment and the Calgary Stampede was finalized last year to bring Cowboys Casino to life - a revolutionary multi-venue entertainment complex that will be the first of its kind in Canada. Another one of Calgary’s most beloved iconic establishments, Melrose Café & Bar is a perfect addition to Cowboys Casino; bringing all of Calgary’s favorite entertainment venues together. Most exciting is the opportunity to be the pioneering entertainment establishment to Calgary's highly anticipated Stampede Trail project – a retail and entertainment development that will take place on Stampede Park in the next few years. Calgarians will now have an entertainment venue that will host Cowboys Dance Hall, Zen 8 Grill, Melrose Café & Bar and a state-of-the- art Concert and Corporate Events Venue – a place where people can Eat, Drink & Play. Cowboys Casino is pleased to initiate Stampede Trail's vibrant, new entertainment zone where the best of North America's entertainment and hospitality brands will come together to shine a new, refreshing spotlight on Calgary and Alberta.
